Bringing home butterflies

Bringing home butterflies

Shopping for exquisite but affordable things to complement my Alabaster collection of Egyptian cotton bed linen at the huge Maison & Objets trade fair in Paris made me feel like a child in a toy shop.

Half an hour before the end of an crazy week walking through 3,000 stands, my entire body and mind about to collapse it happened: a little corner of Provence drew me in and I was instantly refreshed.

Collines de Provence clearly stuck out from the rest with a clean, modern twist on traditional provencal designs and local essences. With most famous brands having turned to synthetic fragrances and fancy 'made in China' packaging, I felt really privileged to be able to talk directly passionate botanists and Master perfumers from Grasse whilst placing my order and super excited to be able to offer it to customers in Norway as exclusive importer.

I love everything from Collines de Provence but have a weakness for their Bouquet Aromatique Papillons. It's just so adorable with its fragranced paper butterflies settling on the stems of the diffuser and so different from anything I've seen in Norway from other Provencal brands. Perfect as a gift too. It’s feels like bringing home not only the delicious fragrances from Provence but its butterflies too!
