Norwegian nature is such a vast source of inspiration for one who likes to pause, look around and imagine how they could take a colour home. I do that often and not only when I am outside. Like the smell of a cake can take you back to your grandmother’s kitchen, I have sudden crushes on a specific variation of colour.
They take me back to one of the many beautiful places I have seen and it warms my heart. Sometimes I am lucky and I find napkins and candles that match it on the same day. Mixing colours at the École Martenot school of Art in Paris was my always the highlight of my week. This week it’s not a crush, it’s for life: A mid-Summer’s wheat field green.
